Practice Areas:

Ed Healy was born in Wichita, Kansas, and grew up in Durango,
Colorado, graduating from Durango High School in 1970. He received
his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Duke University,
graduating magna cum laude, in 1974. He received his Master of
Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from the University
of Kansas in 1979.
Mr. Healy has practiced primarily in the areas of business and
corporate law, with an emphasis on the formation, sale, purchase and
merger of businesses. He has served on the KBA Executive Committees
of the Section of Taxation and the Corporation, Banking and Business
Law Section. He is a member of the Wichita, Kansas, and American
Bar Associations.
Mr. Healy has volunteered his time on behalf of a variety of
educational, civic and community organizations, including Duke
University, Center for Health and Wellness, Inc., Kansas University
Endowment Association, Phi Gamma Delta Educational Foundation,
Sedgwick County Zoological Society, Inc., Sedgwick County Zoological
Foundation, Inc., Senior Services, Inc., and Wichita Collegiate School. He currently serves
on the boards of the Ulrich Museum of Art, the Wichita Community
Foundation and the
Kansas University Endowment Association.
