Fleeson Gooing attorney David Seely
has been elected president of the Wesley E. Brown Inn of Court
for the 2011-12 year.
Formed in 2008, The Wesley E. Brown Inn of Court is dedicated to fostering excellence in civility, ethics and legal skills in order to improve the professionalism and quality of the bench and bar. The Inn has 99 members who are selected through an application process and divided into Masters, Barristers and Associates, depending upon years of experience.
The Inn is a member of the American Inns of Court and is named in honor of The Honorable Wesley E. Brown, who was appointed to the federal bench by President John F. Kennedy in 1962 and, at age 103, is the oldest sitting judge in the federal court system.
As president, David oversees a seven-member executive committee charged with developing programs to further the goals of the Inn. The firm’s Bill Townsley
