Fleeson Gooing attorney Brooks Severson has been named as one of Wichita’s Women Who Lead in Legal Services by the Wichita Business Journal.
The Women Who Lead award recognizes women who regularly offer guidance and learning to others, helping them advance both personally and professionally. Brooks is one of twenty-five individuals chosen to receive recognition in the Legal Services area. She was previously honored as one of Wichita’s Women Who Lead in Professional Services.
Brooks joined Fleeson Gooing in 2005 after graduating from Washburn University School of Law. She has previously served as President of the Young Lawyers Section of both the Wichita Bar Association and Kansas Bar Association. She is a past member of the Wichita Bar Association’s Board of Governors and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel where she serves as Treasurer. Brooks is one of the firm’s primary litigation attorneys and is a member of its Executive Committee.
