Fleeson Gooing attorney Calvin Rider has been elected President of the Kansas School Attorneys Association (KSAA). He previously served two terms on the KSAA Board of Directors representing Region 6, which includes the Wichita area.
KSAA was established in 1969 to promote and conduct activities leading to a better understanding of education law, to provide an opportunity for school attorneys to discuss legal issues of mutual concern and to provide an avenue for disseminating information concerning school law and its related areas. Membership in KSAA is open to any Kansas attorney who is affiliated with a local public school district, state school board association, or public community college that is a member of the Kansas Association of School Boards.
Calvin and the other Fleeson Gooing attorneys who practice in the area of education and school law represent a number of public school districts including Bluestem USD No. 205, Derby USD No. 260, Maize USD No. 266, Mulvane USD No. 263, Parsons USD No. 503, Rose Hill USD No. 394, Valley Center USD No. 262, and Wichita USD No. 259.
