Fleeson Gooing attorney Dave Seely and his wife Deb recently attended the American Inns of Court Celebration of Excellence in Washington, D.C. The black-tie event was hosted by Justice Sonia Sotomayor and was held at the United States Supreme Court. Following a reception that flowed between the Court’s two conference rooms, dinner was served in the Great Hall. The awards ceremony was held in the Supreme Court’s courtroom. The American Inns of Court are devoted to fostering excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills.
Dave currently serves as President of Wichita’s Wesley E. Brown American Inn of Court. The Wesley E. Brown Inn received recognition at the Celebration of Excellence for attaining the Bronze Level in the Achieving Excellence program. Founded in 2007, the Wichita Inn is named for the Honorable Wesley E. Brown, who, at the age of 104, is the oldest federal judge still serving on the bench.
