Fleeson Gooing attorney Eric Engstrom was honored by the Orpheum Theater on September 5, 2014, for his 30 years of service and leadership on the Orpheum’s Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors was formed in 1984 with Eric as a founding member. He was responsible for writing the theater’s original bylaws and led many fundraising initiatives and other efforts aimed at restoring and preserving the historic Orpheum.

Eric stepped off the Board of Directors in January of 2014, after which he was elected Board Member Emeritus. He remains active on the theater’s Capital Campaign Leadership Committee for the overall restoration and renovation of the Orpheum Theater.
