Fleeson Gooing is privileged to welcome Peyton Weatherbie, Joel Amend, and Anna Hedstrom (pictured left to right) as law clerks for the summer of 2022.

Peyton is a native of Paola, Kansas. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Kansas in Business Administration, with a minor in History. While earning her degree, she was President of the KU Women’s Business Club and served as a tutor for Kansas Athletics. Peyton recently completed her second year at the University of Kansas School of Law. During law school she has worked as an Elder Law intern with Kansas Legal Services. At Fleeson Gooing, she entertains the firm with her “Song of the Day.” She will be taking some time off during the summer to get married.

Joel was born and raised in Wichita. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the University of Kansas, where he was Chapter President of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He has work experience in the fields of Business and Finance. Joel current attends Washburn University School of Law where he has completed one year of study. Outside of school and work, Joel enjoys playing and watching all sports, especially basketball and golf. He also enjoys reading about history and politics.

Anna is also a native of the Wichita area. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a minor in Spanish, from the University of Arkansas. Anna has worked with a number of charitable organizations including an after school program and as a camp counselor. She just completed her first year at the University of Kansas School of Law. Anna enjoys being outside and participating in activities such as camping, hiking and swimming. Her favorite author is John Steinbeck and she holds a Commercial Driver’s License from the State of Arkansas.
