Fleeson Gooing is pleased to welcome Emily Arida as an associate attorney.
Emily is a native of Wichita and attended Wichita State University where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in criminal justice. She attended Washburn University School of Law and served as the Managing Editor of Volume 60 of the Washburn Law Journal.
Emily spent the summer after her first year in law school clerking with Fleeson Gooing and later served as an intern for the Honorable Eric F. Melgren of the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.
Emily received her Juris Doctor degree from Washburn in 2021, graduating at the head of her class. After passing the bar examination she joined Fleeson Gooing as an associate attorney where she works primarily in the areas of civil litigation and employment law.
