Fleeson Gooing attorney Kent Meyerhoff has been appointed to serve on the Kansas Judicial Council’s Probate Law Advisory Committee.
The Judicial Council, of which Fleeson Gooing attorney Steve Robison is a member, is responsible for the ongoing study of the judicial branch of government. It recommends options for improvement in the administration of justice to both the Kansas Legislature and Kansas Supreme Court. The Judicial Council uses advisory committees to assist in various projects.
The Probate Law Advisory Committee monitors the Kansas Probate Code, studies related areas of law, and proposes new legislation that affects estate planning, probate and trust administration in Kansas. The Committee also prepares an annual supplement to the Kansas Judicial Council Probate Forms 3d.
