Fleeson Gooing attorney Kent Meyerhoff has recently had several opportunities to provide assistance to Kansas attorneys practicing in the area of estate planning.
On Monday, February 6, 2017, Kent was a presenter at the Kansas Bar Association’s “Slam Dunk” continuing legal education seminar, which was held in conjunction with the University of Kansas/Kansas State University basketball game in Manhattan, Kansas. Kent spoke on the topic of “Estate Planning for Digital Assets.”
In December of 2016, the KBA released the 2nd edition of its Kansas Basic Will & Trust Drafting handbook. Kent was a co-author of that handbook, contributing to several chapters.
And later this year, the KBA will be releasing the 8th edition of its handbook on Kansas Probate & Trust Administration After Death. Kent was the author of the chapter entitled “Determining the Need to Probate.”
