Fleeson Gooing attorney Roarke Gordon and his family were recently featured in WeigandWire, the newsletter of the J.L. Weigand Legal Education Trust. The newsletter may be accessed by clicking here.
The Weigand Trust is one of the nation’s largest legal scholarships. Its purpose is to actively promote excellence in legal education and to encourage the most scholastically qualified students who are long term Kansas residents to remain in or return to Kansas to practice law.
Weigand Scholarships are among the most generous legal scholarships in the nation and are open to Kansas residents attending the University of Kansas School of Law, Washburn University School of Law and the University of Notre Dame Law School.
Roarke, who graduated from Washburn Law School in 2006, is one of 53 Weigand Scholar alumni currently practicing in Kansas. Fleeson Gooing is proud to also have among its ranks Weigand Scholar alumni Dan Lawrence (Washburn ‘08), Nate Martens (Washburn ‘16) and Audrey Koehler (Washburn ‘19).
