Fleeson Gooing attorney Roarke Gordon has been elected to serve an additional term on the Board of Trustees of Wichita’s Botanica Gardens. He was originally named to the Board in 2012.

The 17.6 acre botanical gardens are owned by the City of Wichita as part of its park system and are operated by Botanica, Inc., a non-profit corporation governed by a 15-member Board of Trustees.

Botanica was opened in 1987 to generate enthusiasm for horticulture and enlighten people through educational, artistic, and cultural experiences. It has grown to become one of the area’s top attractions, drawing approximately 150,000 visitors annually.
